What opportunities are there for placements?
Our four year programmes all offer a placement year to our students. On the Law with International Studies Programme, this is partly an academic placement in a university in which the language of instruction is English (these are currently located in Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden and Finland) and partly a work placement (which could take place in the United Kingdom, Europe or North America). The placements for Law with French Law, German Law or Spanish Law are full year academic placements at a university in the target country during which students study law in the relevant language. As the M100 Single Honours programme is dedicated to the study of the law of England and Wales across 3 years no placements are included as part of the programme. Students are however given advice on obtaining vacation placements, which are very important to the development of a legal career.
