Examples of traditional cooperatives include: housing cooperatives, natural foods cooperatives, purchasing cooperatives and retailer-owned wholesaler cooperatives. Examples of like-minded organizations include: Alaska Native corporations, ESOPs, community-based healthcare organizations, nonprofit retirement communities, community development corporations and charter schools.
