What parallels are to be noted between the visions of the the beasts, in Daniel and in Revelation?
Daniel 2:44 tells us about a kingdom that will be set up that will replace all the existing rulerships and will stand to time indefinite. The ruler of this kingdom we all know to be Jesus Christ. “The God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite.”—Daniel 2:44. First John 2:17 tells us that the one who does God’s will is the one that will remain: 17 Furthermore, the world is passing away and so is its desire, but he that does the will of God remains forever. If you think about it are the world’s governments doing God’s will? Thou shalt not murder: there is fighting and killing for dominance and greed. Also if you say to your neighbor go in peace, be warm and well fed; yet you do not feed or clothe him in his need, are you doing God’s will?
