To make matters more confusing, Muslims say that the Bible predicts the coming of Muhammad, and that the Qur’an says that the Bible is the word of God. If the Bible is corrupted, then the Qur’an must be lying, and a corrupt Bible cannot be trusted when it is said to predict the coming of another prophet (those passages could have been the corrupted ones).
