What period of time should be utilized in classifying space?
The space should be classified according to how the space was used over the entire fiscal period, i.e., July 1 2005 – June 30, 2006 which is the University base year for the F&A Proposal. Only code space as vacant (Department Administration) if it is unoccupied for the entire year. If it is occupied for part of the fiscal year, assign functions and percentages according to how it was used when occupied only.
