What political event was recently held in the National Building Museum in Washington DC?
Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton today announced the suspension of her campaign for president of the US inside the large main room of the National Building Museum in Washington DC. She urged her supporters to give their support to Senator Barack Obama. She was accompanied by her husband, former President Bill Clinton, their daughter Chelsea, and her mother. (This was the first time I’ve ever even heard any mention of her mother.) The Building Museum is located not far from the Law Enforcement Memorial at 401 F Street NW Washington, DC, and is a museum devoted to “architecture, design, engineering, construction, and urban planning”. I’ve been there several times and have always loved the Corinthian Columns inside it–but they are faux marble, which most articles about them fail to mention.
