What is Bricanyl used for? Different preparations are used to treat different conditions. Bricanyl Turbohaler and Respules are used to help relieve bronchospasm (tightening of the chest and difficulty breathing) in breathing disorders such as asthma. Bricanyl Tablets and Syrup are used as regular treatment to help relieve bronchospasm (tightening of the chest and difficulty breathing) in breathing disorders such as asthma. They are also used in pregnancy to prevent premature labour. Bricanyl Injection helps to relieve bronchospasm (tightening of the chest and difficulty breathing) in breathing disorders such as asthma. It is also used in pregnancy to prevent premature labour. How is Bricanyl® given? Your medicine will be prescribed by your doctor who will decide the correct dose and preparation for you. You should always read the label carefully and follow any instructions your doctor has given you. A Bricanyl Turbohaler is for inhalation use. Bricanyl Respules are given by inhalation
