We needed a new facility due to growth and wanted to create something with a different look and feel, so we decided to create the Technology Showhome (which has been trademarked) rather than simply a showroom. We wanted our customers to be able to experience the products we offer in real-life applications. I wanted customers to feel like they would at home, so they aren't guessing at what something [A/V, home control, etc.] would be like. And since "she" makes 80 percent of the buying decisions today, for aesthetic reasons our goal was to blend performance and appearance as much as possible. Have there been other changes to the building prior to this one? The 107,000-square foot building was previously a Sam's Club and is now owned by Genz Ryan Plumbing and Heating.
