Pathologists (forensic or otherwise) are fully qualified medical doctors, so you would obviously have to go to medical school. As far as GCSEs go, you want to take all of the sciences and maths. A-levels is the same – you might be able to do an A-level in anatomy or something similar, but you can’t go wrong with Biology, Chemistry and Maths. It might be a good idea to send off for prospectuses at some of the universities offering medical degrees. You can find out which ones from UCAS, but all of the major universities have medical courses. They should give you a good idea of what is expected of prospective students.
