What qualifications should a vocational rehabilitation counselor have?
Vocational rehabilitation counselors usually have a master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling, psychology, or a related field. Some may have a bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation services, psychology, counseling, or a related field. In addition, vocational rehabilitation counselors often are nationally certified and designated as certified rehabilitation counselors. Be sure to ask any of these counselors if they have experience working with people with hemophilia.
