What r some really do drifting baits 4 kingfish??

One of the best baits for kingfish are threadfin shad. There are several different varieties of similar baitfish that go by varying names such as bunker, herring, shad, pogy, etc. Look for schools of them in the same location you’re fishing for kings and catch them with either a cast net or a sabiki rig on a rod. A large (6/0) circle hook with a 2/0 or so trailer hook works good for rigging. I’m not sure what you mean by “drifting”, but the best rig I’ve seen for trolling is to rig the bait with a 3/4 ounce sinker on its “chin”.
