As a fully qualified doctor, (depending on your years of service/experience) you can enter the RAMC (Royal Army Medical Corps) as a first lieutenant and move up to a higher rank depending on how long you sign on for. As far as a personal weapon, you will not get issued one, as you operate under the “Red Cross” which is humanitarian and non combatant, if you are worried about your saftey, then all RAMC field hospitals are gurded day and night.
