What religious denomination is Saint Matthews Churches?
Saint Matthew’s Churches is an ecumenical church. Ecumenical means that we welcome people of all faiths, and that we are in line with the injunction set forth in Isaiah 56:7 which says, “For mine house shall be called a house of prayer for all people”. This Scripture and others make it clear that God’s house of prayer is not limited to Baptists, Methodists, Lutherans, Catholics, Presbyterians, Anglicans, Episcopalians or Full Gospel Churches. Thus, regardless of who you are or what religious denomination you belong to – even if you have never been inside a church before – we welcome you and your family the moment you walk into a Saint Matthew’s Church.
