What resources are available to schools for emergency preparedness?
Each year site administrators prepare a Safe School Plan as required by the California Education Code. This plan includes emergency procedures, violence prevention, crisis management, and student and employee safety. A standard template is provided to each school with District protocols and is updated annually with site specific information. Instructions for preparing and updating this plan can be found in Reference Guide 1242.6 (*.pdf) on the OEHS website.
