What revision book to get for AS Biology, Spec AQA B ?

There is no AQA Spec B specification anymore. We are now teaching the new AQa Spec, which is very different from both spec A & spec B. No Spec A or Spec B textboook will be of any use to you. You must buy one specifically written for the new spec. I know of 4, but I can’t advise you which to buy since my own students don’t really like the one that I prefer!! Go to a good bookshop & browse. For a good revision/summary book, try “Student Support Materials for AQA AS biology”. Published by Collins. There is one for Unit 1 & unit for Unit 2. The new spec has a lot of the “How Science Works” ideas that you will have encountered in GCSE Sciences. These were not in Spec A or B. Many students seemed to find “How Science Works” questions very challenging.
