What role did leveraging play in the existing Measure C funding?
Since Measure C was authorized by Fresno County voters in 1986, over $700 million were generated and invested in enhancements to the local public transportation and public transit infrastructure and services.Another $700 million were generated through matching funds with state and federal sources.Thus, to date, the yield from the existing Measure C has been doubled over the 20-year life of the funding stream.
