What scrap metal can I recycle at home through the curbside recycling program?
Scrap metal (ferrous and non-ferrous), including copper, brass, aluminum, steel and iron up to 24″ long can be placed next to your curbside recycling bins on collection day. Max. weight per pick up is 35 lbs. Types of items might include sheet metal, metal tools, hardware, wire (plastic-coated or not) and wire hangers. New! Now accepting non-hazardous, Aerosol Cans Non-hazardous aerosol cans ONLY! Aerosol cans must be EMPTY – no pressure or contents left in can. Leave cap on (if you have it).
