What security features are built into the 911 Medical ID™ card?
The security of your information is our primary concern. As a result, we’ve taken great care to provide the security features you need to have total confidence and trust in your 911 Medical ID™ card. For example, your card is viewable (but not editable) by emergency responders. Only you can edit your information; a password is required to make changes to your personal medical profile. In addition, you have the option of hiding information you want to block from appearing in your My Emergency Summary or My Full Medical Profile by simply checking the privacy box on the appropriate screen. Finally, if you choose to upload your data to the medicalidaccess.com website so that you can access it online, your data is encrypted for your protection.
