The EAP offers face-to-face, short-term, counseling to address a broad range of difficulties. The EAP counselors use an approach called solution-focused therapy. Unlike more traditional therapy approaches which seek primarily to help clients achieve insight, solution-focused therapy assists the client to develop the strategies and skills to successfully address the problem themselves. Using this supportive approach, clients are encouraged to take the steps necessary to effectively resolve their difficulty. There is no set limit on the number of sessions provided through the EAP. Most problems are addressed in just a few sessions over a couple of months. However, some types of problems are not appropriately treated by short-term therapy and are referred to appropriate community providers. Personal care services such as assistance with bathing, dressing and medication reminders are available in the privacy of one's own suite. Battery Boost If your vehicle will not start, a battery boost will be provided at no charge in an attempt to start the vehicle. Tire Service If your vehicle's tire is flat, we will send a service provider to replace the flat at no extra charge. If the vehicle's spare tire is inflated and serviceable, it will be installed to replace a flat tire. Fuel Delivery If your vehicle runs out of gas, a free limited supply of fuel will be delivered so you can reach the nearest open service station. Lockout Service If the keys are lost or locked inside the vehicle, we will make arrangements for a locksmith service and cover up to $50 in charges. A. The Fire District provides fire and emergency medical services by career and reserve firefighters and state certified EMTs and paramedics. The District has a full complement of fire, medical, and rescue equipment. The District also provides fire inspection and public education programs.
