What services does the Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program offer?
• Education to parents of infants and young children, medical providers, childcare providers and teachers on how to prevent lead poisoning. • Case management to families of children with lead poisoning. This includes coordination of medical care and testing, assessment of nutrition status and child development, referrals to other services as needed, and environmental investigations of the home. • Advocacy for policies and regulations that prevent childhood lead poisoning.
