most of them use stiff although they can use extra stiff – extra stiff shafts require that you swing fast all of the time so it basically eliminates the “feel” factor – most of them use stiff to give them the ability to make shots – some of them actually use regular flex on their wedges so they can feel the shot more and allow the club to do the work
