What should be the resolution of Photo or Scanned Images required to ensure quality print?

To get the best quality of your printed book, please make sure photos and/or scanned images used in your book have resolutions between 200 to 300 dpi (dot per inch). However, it is not necessary to go beyond 300 dpi since it will not improve the print quality further.
