It’s difficult to say. While it is true that there are laws, some employers have workers sign as to the point that they are able to quit or be terminated without cause. This being the case, it isn’t hard for empoyers to say ‘we just didn’t need him any more. It also depends on the job. If it got to the point where accomodating him either cost the company a lot of money, or potentially altered the nature of the buisness, the company is not obligated to accomodate him. It also would depend on how heavy the burden of proof is on your friend (don’t know that one myself). the fact is, looking at the economy the way it is, and knowing the current mindset of most buisness in this day and age, he was probably terminated because he worked there longer, and therefore got more pay than the others. They do this all the time to abled bodied people. If they can hire someone for less money (even if they don’t preform the job as well as you), so long as they can do the job they’ll get rid of the perso
