What should employees do if their child feels sick and/or their school closes down because of fear of spreading H1N1 flu?
The employee should immediately notify his or her supervisor/manager to inform her/him of the situation. The University has implemented temporary modifications to sick leave policies to provide additional flexibility if employees or members of their family become ill or if a child’s school is closed because of the flu.
