What should I apply first, fake tan or baby oil?

You should apply the tanning lotion/product soon after you get out of the shower. Exfoliate in the shower using a loofah or scrub, then make sure you are completely dry (otherwise you will get streaks) and apply the tanning product. After it dries (about 15-30 minutes) you can apply the baby oil. You DON’T want to apply the baby oil BEFORE the tanning lotion because the oil will prevent the tanning lotion from soaking into your skin and working effectively. What you might want to do, however (depending on where you are applying the fake tan) is to put a little oil on your knees, ankles, and elbows, because that will prevent them from becoming too dark or streaky. To maintain your tan, apply baby oil right after you get out of the shower the next day, before you are completely dry. Then use a towel and pat-dry yourself. Good luck!
