What should i do about my childs deadbeat father ?

There is nothing you can do to make him want to be a dad. Trust me on this one. When she asks why he doesn’t see her, tell her he is still growing up. In my opinion, they are better without the deadbeat parent. Just be a good mother in every possible way and your daughter will be just fine. I am in the same situation times three! It is tough to endure being the only parent but it is worth it completely.

Do what I did and terminate his parental rights. Every mother wants their child to “know” their father, but after awhile, the child will know themselves that they’re better off with out him. I filed for child support years ago and after not seeing a dime, I had his parental rights terminated. I’m not sure what the laws are in your state. I’m from Colorado and the this state views 6 months with no contact “abandonment”. It was the best decision I’ve ever made knowing that if something were to happen to me, my children wouldn’t go to an unwanted, unsupportive next of kin (their father).
