What should my lovebirds act like when they breed/?

It sounds like the female is at least wanting to nest. I’ve never noticed a huge change in any of my males however. I’d say your birds sound like the normal couple with the female being a little more interested in the nest than the other. Give it time, if you see them mating then get eggs that are fertilized, congrats you have a male and female. If not you could still just have 2 females, or a nonfertile male/female pair. Just be aware, breeding birds takes a good deal of effort to do right, and 2 lovebirds can quickly turn into 12 that you have to find homes for.
