What should plus size women wear for a bathing suit?
I’m 17 and a size 13, complete with the enitre curvy package just like you. From experience I’ve learned that tankinis do not work with our body type–those swimsuits just split us in half and are unflattering. The swimsuit that REALLY works is a one-piece suit. It effectively covers your body so that you’re not insecure while at the same time it shows off your awesome curves. I’m assuming you have a fairly large bust, so to keep the “girls” in line wear a halter one-piece–halters, believe it or not, provide the “girls” with support. As for a color, try purples, greens, and blues or some sort of cute pattern that repeats all over. Like animal print, that was my swimsuit last year. Shop at Macy’s swimwear–it has a pricetag on it, but the swimsuits are great quality and it’s worth every dollar. Good luck, and don’t worry–you’ll look great!
