As someone born and raised in Chicago, I know this answer. Scallas Italian beef sandwiches, pizza from Connies or Phil's, hot dogs from Portillos, french fries and breaded steaks from Ricobene's, ribs from Carson's and my favorite burgers in town are form R.J. Grunts. For desert I would go with Taylor St. style Italian ice and Eli's cheesecake.
