What size blanket is the right size?

Medium blankets are usually 3.5″x 6″ (finished size can be as small as 3′ x 5.5′) and will fit a child 5-6 yrs old up to an average size adult. If you do not have a recommendation from your Occupational Therapist, figure the weight at 10% of the body weight plus 2 lbs (for medium size). If you need a blanket for someone very tall, try the adult length blanket. Adult length is a medium blanket made with 10″-12″ extra inches of length. Crib/toddler size blankets are appropriate for babies up to approximately 4yrs of age. They are sized 36″ x 52″. (finished size can be as small as 32″ x 38″) If you have not consulted your OT for a weight recommendation, we suggest 10% of the body weight plus one pound for this size blanket.
