What small gifts can I buy in Brazil?
You said you’re going to Rio and I think it’s gonna be easier to find what your looking for there, since it’s the most touristic city in Brazil and you’ll see a lot of different souvenirs from all over the country. In Rio, I guess you should walk the boardwalk from Copacana to Ipanema. There are many people offering many kinds of goods, such as bags, speedos, bikinis, t-shirts, hand crafts, flip flops, caps, among other things. All of them related to Rio and / or Brazil. There are also big public fairs in the streets during the weekends. In Ipanema, there’s a nice one at a park called “General Osório”, one block from the beach … it’s very easy to get there. And there’s also a huge one in Copacabana, in the middle sidewalk between the boardwalk and the first block across from the beach.. I can’t remember exactly where but you should look for it. Most of those people on the stands can speak English, Spanish and other languages so you it’s gonna be pretty easy to get things the way you
