What sort of money can qualified electricians make in Abu Dahabi.?
depends what type of company ur working for if its a western company then u should be ok but if not then no as there are lots of asians doing the job for little money (to us). when i lived in dubai we asked a guy to come and do some jobs for us (he was indian) he claimed to be qualified electrician but i had my doubts he had to change the cistern on the cloakroom wc, put some shelves up and various things like that. anyway he changed the cistern first which meant the floor was couple of inches deep in water he was then standing in the water barefoot and plugged the two wires of his electic drill (no plug on it) into the socket (bathrooms there have sockets) , i had to go out as i was confident there was going to be a disaster i could not believe it. my point is qualifications dont mean much there but as isay if ur working for a western company u should be ok, try searching for companies that operate there and contacting them. good luck, its a good life there.
