What sort of qualifications does CARE Australia seek?
CARE Australia staff members have a wide range of academic and other formal qualifications and experience. Primarily, CARE Australia seeks applicants who have relevant working experience in their field of expertise. We have technical staff who have backgrounds in engineering, public health and epidemiology, emergency management and education for example. Other staff have tertiary qualifications in various disciplines including international development; international relations; gender studies; commerce; law; and human resources to name a few. One thing in common across all our staff is the desire to work in a field committed to serving poor communities around the world.
