What state does it snow in alot?
We naturally assume Alaska would have a lot of snow, but the interior and northern parts of Alaska are not as heavy for snow as many parts of the Pacific Coast. Alaska, along the Pacific coast does have a lot of snow every year. The only glaciers in Alaska are close to its Pacific coast. Most parts of the contiguous 48 states have times in winter that are snow free, even Vermont and the Rockies states. Going north into Canada, along the BC-Alberta border, one always finds snow, even if one has to go to the glacier National park. But one has to be alert for snow slide areas. However, even here a strong Chinook can peel away the snow. Idaho appears to have skiing somewhere close by most of the time, as does Wyoming.
