The loss or potential compromise of records containing Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as Social Security numbers should be reported to US-CERT via our Incident Reporting System, available at the following URL: https://forms.us-cert.gov/report/. CALL US-CERT at 888-282-0870 with any questions. I received an e-mail from Western Union informing me that I have a large amount of money waiting for me to be transferred to my bank account. I responded by notifying them that there must be an error. However, I did not delete my phone number from my response to the email. What should I do? A: US-CERT recommends that you cease engaging in communications with the party or parties described in your e-mail. Please refer to the Internet Crime Complaint Center at http://www.ic3.gov for more information on how to file a complaint and information on how to protect yourself in the future.
