What superstitious beliefs existed before the Age of Enlightenment to explain human behaviour?
In which culture?? A better question would be what beliefs WEREN’T superstitious? Everything was back then. They didn’t even know that the earth was round, that earth orbits sun, or that germs cause disease. Astrology absolutely IS superstition. Its the same as reading the tea leaves or asking a magical 8 ball. It has zero predictive power and has been proven to have no bearing on reality. Two identical twins born minutes apart can have completely different personalities. Of course, just like the Creationists, astrology’s proponents always have some dubious ad hoc “solution” to skirt around the mountains of hard fact that stand in opposition to their ridiculous beliefs.
