What tanks did the US use in World War 1 and World War 2?
During the Korean War (1950-1953), the M-26 Pershing became the first of the “Patton” tank series, when it was re-designated the M-46 Patton tank. Then came the M-47 Patton (which never saw combat with US Forces); The M-48 Patton, which fought in the Vietnam War; the M-60 Patton, and last of the series, was used by the US Marines (US Army used the M-1 Abrams) during Operation Desert Storm in 1991.
