Chris “Birdman” Anderson currently plays center/power forward for the NBA’s Denver Nuggets. Following the 2007-2008 season, Anderson was released by the New Orleans Hornets to free agency. He signed a one-year contract with the Nuggets on July 24, 2008. Anderson played one season of college basketball at Blinn Junior College. After being undrafted in the 1999 NBA Draft, Anderson started his professional career with Jiangsu Nagang of the Chinese Basketball League. Anderson also played for the Denver Nuggets from 2001-2004.
