What technologies does the program provide to the eMINTS classrooms?
The program does not directly provide any of the technologies or connectivity to eMINTS classrooms. Neither MOREnet nor DESE will purchase equipment for districts selected to participate in the program, or provide additional connectivity in the form of T1 lines. Districts may purchase additional connectivity from MOREnet using grant or other local funds. Neither DESE nor MOREnet will provide free dial-up connectivity for participating teachers. All of these items will be the responsibility of the participating districts using a combination of grant funds and local funds. Districts may purchase eMINTS equipment from the prime vendor contract.
