What the difference between oil and gas, petrol and diesel. and all that unleaded diesel and stuff?

Petrol is the British word for Gas….so they are the same. Diesel is similar to gas but refined differently with a lower flash point. Unleaded fuel is just that, unleaded. When you add lead to fuel, it helps prevent “pinging”, which is premature ignition. But, leaded fuel is bad for the environment.
