What the hell is a Potato Gun?
The potato gun is basically a homemade weapon constructed out of PVC pipes and is designed to fire a potato projectile using hair spray as a propellant. The videos are fun to watch, but please don’t try this at home. Potato guns can be very dangerous. In Hunter’s Safety they teach you not to point a weapon at anything you don’t want to harm. However, with the potato gun there is no reason to shoot this type of weapon at any animal because it’s not good for hunting. I guess you could shoot it at a bear if the bear was attacking you, but it wouldn’t harm the bear. It would only make it more angry. Therefore, I think the golden rule of potato guns is to never aim them at other living creatures. B
