Dinner is served at 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. You should inform us of your seating time preference when you book your vacation. No requests are guaranteed. Generally, adults without children will dine with other adults while families dine with other families. Children’s menus are available in the restaurants. What time would you like it to be? NCL’s exclusive Freestyle Cruising lets you choose. We offer open-seating dinning in a variety of restaurants and cafes with individual menus, so it’s your choice. You can have lunch or dinner with friends in one of the elegantly appointed restaurants. Reserve a table for two in an intimate bistro. Order an omelette prepared just the way you like it from the breakfast-buffet chef. There are special menus for youngsters and great sail away barbecues. Special meals are available including low-calorie, vegetarian, no MSG, low/no sodium and low/no cholesterol meals, as well as no sugar added desserts and kosher meals. All of our restaurants are non-smoking. Most specialty restaurants require a per person cover charge or offer a la carte pricing and reservations are recommended and can be made on board.

No requests are guaranteed. Many cruise lines now offer alternatives dining to the dining room or room service. For example, Norwegian Cruise Lines (NCL) has the Bistro on all of their ships. It is a separate a la carte restaurant open between 6:30 and 11:00 pm where you can go to dinner anytime you’d like. Carnival, Princess, and NCL are using their upper deck breakfast and lunch facilities to offer a buffet version of their dinner menus. These restaurants generally have cover charges and are more casual allowing you to be more flexible with your meal time and dress.
