Recently there was an answer to a Jehovah’s Witness question (on false religion – the Roman Catholics are the main part of the harlot of Revelation, Babylon the Great, according to the JWs) where a non-JW pointed out that Iain Paisley had done just this very thing a good few years ago. She got a phenomenal amount of ‘thumbs down’! The JWs didn’t seem to like that point one little bit. They don’t like anyone stealing their thunder. They like to think they alone dencounce Roman Catholicism. Clearly they have no idea of Church history. Anyway, I’m sure Mr Paisley acted in accordance with his Christian conscience when he did that, and I doubt if he’s ever regretted doing it. Why should he, if that is what he believes? And is it not a great thing that people can protest vocally in Parliaments, without being violent? We have yet to see the Jehovah’s Witnesses marching into any White House or Parliament, let alone the Vatican, saying what they think about the Pope and Catholicism! But nobody
