First off, you will have to check your paperwork to see if they included sales tax, title, registration, and plates. This is NOT a requirement in every state, so you will want to double check. The dealer should have provided you with a temporary tag, which is usually 31 days. Typically, if you buy from the same state where you live, they should have collected sales tax on the vehicle purchase. If they didn't do your paperwork, they will eventually have to give you the title <cetificate of origin>, odometer statement, and any rebate forms <for new cars>. You will bring that paperwork along with a valid driver license and proof of insurance to the DMV to get your plates <assuming they didn't do it for you> Good luck and you can email me if you have specific questions.
