You are very kind to want to give this dog a better life. Yes, the RSPCA would most likely put her down. Many rescue organizations will not accept bully breeds, or they just put them down because they consider them unadoptable. Sounds like maybe this dog wasn’t properly trained or socialized. Your best bet might be to find a breed-specific rescue. There are a few just for the bully breeds (pit bull, Staffordshire, etc.) who specialize in them, who will not put a dog down unless it is aggressive and has attacked people. Any other problems, like lack of housebreaking or poor socialization, or if it needs obedience training, they will work with it to resolve them. I will do some research and come back later if I can find a website for you. Edit: I see someone else has found links to bully rescues for you. Best of luck and God bless you for wanting to save this dog.

There is a no kill animal shelter in the state I live in called Project Pets. They will take animals & keep them until they find a good home for it. You may also put an ad in your local newspaper that you have this beautiful animal for free to a good home. It’s only a few dollars to do & well worth it. Whatever you do, don’t take it to the animal shelter. They will put it down for no reason and over 600 dogs a month are destroyed because they have no home. You could even post his picture at work, the grocery store or call a few veterinarians who are usually willing to help find a dog a home. Good luck to you.
