What to do with useful stuff not directly Protel related ?

(When it’s time to insert the screws, all the plated holes have already been plugged by solder by the wave solder machine). However, I want a nice big metal pad around those holes to give the screw something to bite into (and to it doesn’t tear up the fiberglass board). Also, I usually want those metal pads to be connected to ground — the more stuff connected to ground, the better my EMC.
