What to feed my Great Dane. Pro Plan or Canidai dog food?
I would say that Canidae is a better food. Simply by comparing the ingredients from the top of the list, you can see what is in your dog’s food (and then in turn in your dog). If you decide to go with the Canidae, you can always donate the rest of the Pro Plan to the animal shelter or humane society.
Canidae is a lot better then the Pro-Plan. Some dogs found the new formula of Canidae a little too rich, but many had absolutely no problem with it. My own Danes had no problem with the new formula. I am currently feeding Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover’s Soul Large Breed Adult Formula because of ease in getting it, my son is still feeding his Dane Canidae ALS and all is well.
