It is advisable to reserve well in advance for the hotels in Ladakh. All the hotels have air-conditioning and private baths and offer all the modern facilities like telephone, computer, and fax machines. Pay your hotel bill either in cash (rupees) or with a credit card. If you are paying in cash, have with you the receipt of your foreign money into rupees.
