What training is required for certification?
Training requirements will vary by individual. Uncertified teachers will require more training than a certified teacher seeking an additional certification. All new pre-service teacher applicants will receive training in the pedagogy and professional development competencies. Training specifically targets state teacher proficiencies and state exam competencies. New teachers will also have field experiences and/or professional observations.
