What travel companies and resorts are good for single people?
Haven’t used them for one reason and another for a few years, but I found Ramblers really good. I found there were other single people and couples – we all got along because we were generally open to talking to other people. We all met up and had dinner together and deliberately moved around the tables so that we had the opportunity to speak to different people. There were generally over 30s – quite a few teachers. The guides certainly knew their stuff. They were also professional in drawing in the less outgoing people without being overbearing or embarrassing. You don’t have to be a dedicated walker – you can choose a less demanding level of walking. I intend to use them again. Hope they are still as good as they used to be.
